Vanessa I. Raffucci-Vázquez has ample experience in tax, corporate and real estate law with a background in accounting and finance for a multinational manufacturing corporation. During her career, Ms. Raffucci-Vázquez has devoted substantial time to the following matters:
General counseling and advice to clients on tax and corporate matters; structuring tax credit transactions, particularly under the Agricultural Tax Incentives Act of Puerto Rico; requesting grants of industrial tax exemption under the Puerto Rico industrial tax incentives acts and rulings from the Puerto Rico Treasury Department; tax opinions and counseling on several tax matters, including excise tax, property tax, municipal license tax, gifts and estates taxes; tax litigation before the Puerto Rico Treasury Department and the Puerto Rico courts; negotiating tax deficiencies and closing agreements with the Puerto Rico Treasury Department; structuring residential, commercial, and farmers loans, and certain real estate transactions.
