Caridad Muñiz-Padilla obtained a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in Business Administration and a law degree from the University of Puerto Rico. 

Ms. Muñiz is pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Houston Law Center, and expects to graduate on August 2008. She also is a Certified Public Accountant and concentrates on tax and corporate matters, tax incentives, trusts, wills, estate planning, inheritance and probate proceedings.
