Fernando Goyco-Covas
Mr. Goyco-Covas received his bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico, and is a graduate, magna cum laude, of the University of Puerto Rico Law School and has been practicing corporate and tax law for over 25 years.
He specializes in the structuring of complex business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, equity and debt issues, and mutual funds.
Mr. Goyco-Covas has lectured on tax matters in Puerto Rico, in seminars sponsored by the Tax Executive Institute in Chicago and Washington, D.C., and in promotional seminars of the Puerto Rico Economic Development Administration in the United States and South America. He is the founder of the Latinamerican Tax and Legal Network and editor of the Commerce Clearing House Puerto Rico Tax Service.
