Luis R. Pérez-Giusti
Luis R. Pérez-Giusti received a Masters Degree in Labor Law from Georgetown University in 1991; a J.D. from Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 1990, and a B.S.A. in Agriculture from West Virginia University.
Mr. Pérez-Giusti began his legal practice in 1992, and has concentrated primarily in the representation of employers in connection with labor and employment matters, including unjust dismissal, discrimination claims, wages and hours concerns, drug testing issues and workmens’ compensation, union campaigns, negotiations and unfair labor practice, charges before the National Labor Relations Board, arbitration proceedings before the Puerto Rico Department of Labor, and other administrative agencies. He also has broad experience litigating general civil and commercial matters before Puerto Rico and Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals
Mr. Pérez-Giusti is a former President of the Board of Directors of Labor Relations Practitioners Association, and a member of the Labor and Employment Committee of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce. He is an active member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, particularly of the Development of the Law under the National Labor Relations Acts.
