Labor and Employment Law Department

The Labor and Employment Law Department is directed by Mr. Edwin Seda-Fernández. Mr. Luis Pérez-Giusti is the other partner in the Department. Ms. Patricia Limeres-Vargas, Ms. Mariel Haack-Pizarro and Ms. Liana Gutiérrez-Irizarry are the Department's associate attorneys, and Mr. Luis Bernal-Jiménez serves as special counsel affiliated with the Department.

Attorneys in the Department practice in all areas of labor and employment law.  Their practice includes representing clients in connection with negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements and as trial counsel in federal and Puerto Rico courts, before administrative agencies and in labor arbitration and NLRB cases, and client counseling regarding compliance with Puerto Rico and federal employment discrimination statutes, employment terminations, federal and state wage and hour laws, worker's compensation employee benefits and other laws governing matters of employment. 

Since 1995, the Labor and Employment Law Department has actively represented employers in hospitality, construction, airline and goods and services industry.  Members of the Department also represent clients in business related immigration procedures before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
